POLICIES
In order to provide the professional services for you, our clients and your pets, we have
established the following policies.
PAYMENT
Payments for walking or sitting services are to be paid in full at the time of booking or on
the first day of service. Pet Steps Sitters Inc. accepts check or cash. On line credit card
payment option will soon be established.
BOUNCED CHECKS
There will be a $25 fee for any bounced check.
CANCELLATIONS
Minimum 48 hour notice is required
0 - 48 hours: No Refunds
2 - 6 days prior to service: 80% refund or partial credited for future service
7 days prior: Full refund or credited for future service.
HOLIDAY CHARGE
Holiday charges will be time and a half (an extra 50% charge) per visit for the following

Labor Day: September 2-3
Columbus Day: October 7-8
Veteran's Day: November 11

FLAT FEE AND DUE DATE WILL BE DETERMINED FOR MONTHLY CLIENTS
LATE NIGHTS OR EARLY MORNINGS
Visits made between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:00 am are subject to an additional $5 per
visit.
SAME DAY REQUEST
All walk or sit services booked the same day as service are subject to an additional
surcharged of $5 per visit. Any walk or sit service booked less than three (3) hours notice is
subject to an additional surcharge of $10.
KEYS/COPIES
We must have two (2) working keys at the time of the consultation or provide the sitter
with $5 to make a copy for the office. Key drop off/pick up charge of one visit. (We are
bonded* and your keys will be stored in an undisclosed safe location)
DISCLOSURE DOCUMENTS
All disclosure documents must be filled out and signed before services are rendered. It is
the responsibility of the client to keep these documents current.
PET TAG IDENTIFICATION & DOG LICENSE REQUIRED
All dogs and cats must have identification tag with name and phone number. If you are
unable to provide a tag or if you will be unreachable, Pet Steps Sitters Inc. can provide you
a tag for your pet with the name of Pet Steps Sitters Inc.'s name and phone number as a
contact. Micro-chipping is strongly recommended but not required.
ALL PETS MUST BE UP TO DATE ON THEIR VACCINATIONS AND BE ON A
FLEES AND TICK PROGRAM.
WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT NON-AGGRESIVE PETS.
